Mixed help from staff after closing due to flooding!

Unfortunately we didn't get to stay here as we arrived two days after the horrendous floods! It took us 5 1/2 hours to get to the hotel from the airport due to awful traffic because of the flood to be told that they were closed due to flooding! The man in reception said that all agents had been informed two days ago! He offered no help whatsoever (we were exhausted due to an overnight flight in which babies cried a great deal, so we had not slept) I asked if we could sit and rest for awhile to which he agreed. I had no idea what to do, then I heard a female receptionist talking to other guests that were in the same predicament as us and she was rebooking them at another hotel! It all worked out great, she helped us with a 5 star hotel at Burjaman and they paid to transfer us with a couple of young women. We finally walked into our hotel room 8 hours after landing. It was lovely and in a much better place for sightseeing, so despite losing our first holiday day it worked out much better for us. We travelled on the Big Bus to the Mall of the Emirates area a few times later that week and it was still very flooded! When I got wifi, I saw I had had a missed call from British Airways, our agent at 1.30pm that day followed by an email to say the hotel was closed. When I contacted them, they said that they had rang me as soon as they had been contacted by the hotel, which wasn't two days previously as the first hotel said! I am sure that the hotel is amazing as other reviews say, but my experience initially was not great when I first arrived and was not offered any help!

We had a delightful stay here, and in the middle of the floods which happened in Dubai. the team at this hotel were phenomenal during this crisis, in keeping their cool despite clear abuse from travellers. the hotel lobby was flooded so alot of tempers flared, but everyone were so thoughtful. the manager allowed use of the coffee machine to everyone for free hot beverages, arranged taxis when people could travel, allowed use of the telephones, provided breakfast boxes amidst a trying and difficult 2 days. the hotel staff were amazing in pitching to work when no transport was available during the floods. Special thanks to Dilash Nair at the front desk, who went over and above his role in assisting me with my family (travelled with a toddler) and he was most patient and kind and assisted me greatly with various tasks from calling Emirates to rebook flights, to sorting out new hotel bookings etc. Well done to the manager and team, was pleasantly surprised at how well the crisis was managed.

Everything is perfect and has great services, very good swimming pool view and city view , very very good staff and helpful,very near to mall of Emirates( walking distance ) truly four star hotel and front dest is 24/7 available for your service(specially AYA )

Amazing place, clean and neat. Front desk service not really that good. Communication am issue and that customer service is overlooked. Good breakfast and excellent service from Daniel. Rooms clean but House Keeping you need to remind them on a couple of things. Overall ok.

Amazing team at the Hilton Garden inn mall of Emirates. Very helpful, made me very welcome from my arrival, always happy to help you, from the desk to cleaner, fantastic. Was a real pleasure to be here. I will sure coming back without hesitation.
